Congressman Brad Knott’s Office in partnership with Harnett County Veterans Services, Campbell University, and the Department of Veterans Affairs to expand access to essential services and resources for veterans and their families.
Harnett County Veterans Services is inviting active-duty, veterans, and their families are invited to Veteran Service Initiative and Resource Event on Friday & Saturday, July 10 & 11, 2026, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, at the Harnett County Resource Center and Library, located at 455 McKinney Parkway, Lillington, NC.
The Veterans Resource Event is a simultaneous, drop-in style event, allowing attendees to stop by at a time that best fits their schedule.
This two-day event aims to connect attendees with services, resources, and support. Highlights of the event will include:
- On-site claims assistance with Veterans Service Officers and Veterans Affairs.
- Family-friendly activities on Saturday.
- Mental health screenings and services for veterans and their caregivers, provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Dental screenings and oral health services for veterans, provided by Baptist Men’s Association.
- Health, vision, and mental health screenings available to all attendees, provided by Campbell University.
- And more.
