Appointments are required for all services.

This partnership is designed to improve access to preventative oral healthcare and promote healthy habits for children throughout the community.

“Preventive oral health care is vital because it helps children avoid pain and disease, supports healthy development, and reduces long-term health risks through early intervention. Partnering with the NCDHHS Division of Public Health, Oral Health Section to provide these services will greatly benefit children in our community by increasing oral health education, providing preventive services, and offering referrals to help families establish consistent dental care,” said Ainsley Johnson, Harnett County Health Department Director.

Services provided during the event will include:

  • Oral health screenings
  • Fluoride varnish
  • Dental sealants
  • Oral health education

Please note that no teeth cleanings or dental treatment will be provided during these appointments. The Harnett County Health Department encourages families to take advantage of this free service and establish a dental home to support their child’s ongoing oral health.

To receive services, individuals must make an appointment by calling the Health Department at (910) 893-7550.
