“We would like to thank the North Carolina Arm Reduction Coalition for their support in providing Narcan to the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office in an effort to addressing the opiate overdose response,” said Jeffery Armstrong, Captain at the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office.

The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office will use the kits to assist in reversing opioid overdoses in the community.

What is Narcan? Narcan is a nasal spray used to quickly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, helping restore normal breathing and consciousness.
