NCWorks to Host Multi-Employer Resource Fair in April, Offering Resources to Job Seekers

Wednesday, March 11, 2026

The Harnett County NCWorks Career Center, will host a Multi-Employer and Resource Fair on April 8, 2026, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. This event allows job seekers to connect with local employers, learn about current employment opportunities, and get connected with helpful resources.

The event will take place at the Harnett County Resource Center and Library, located at 455 McKinney Parkway, Lillington, 27546.

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the Be Pro Be Proud job simulator, which offers individuals the opportunity to explore careers in a hands-on way. Rather than hearing about jobs, attendees can experience and learn how to perform different jobs in a simulated environment, such as truck driving, welding, or more.

“This event will provide jobseekers with direct access to hiring managers from multiple companies seeking to fill positions,” said Anitra Hart, Harnett County NC Works Career Center Manager. “Gain networking opportunities, receive community resource information, and explore career options inside the NC Be Pro Be Proud mobile workshop simulator. Whether you are seeking entry-level employment, a career change, or advancement opportunities, this event is for you.”

Some of participating resource agencies include:

  • Central Carolina Community College
  • Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities
  • Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action Council
