Harnett County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council Accepting Proposals for Youth Program Funding

The Harnett County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is now accepting proposals from organizations to receive funding for programs that will serve delinquent youth and youth most at risk of becoming delinquent in Harnett County.
JCPC anticipates receiving $320,045.00 from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (DPS), Division of Adult Corrections & Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Community Programs for the fiscal year 2024-2025.
JCPC is seeking organizations that have programs serving youth, or organizations currently seeking funding to start a program to help serve youth in Harnett County.
Organizations receiving funding for programs are required to have a local match of 10% and must use funding during the state fiscal year 2024-2025 beginning on, or after, July 1, 2024.
The Harnett County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council will be accepting proposals for the funding period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, from local government agencies and private non-profits with 501-c-3 status. JCPC will consider proposals for the following needed programs:
- Parent/Family Skill Building
- Interpersonal Skill Building
- Vocational Skills/Development
- Tutoring/Academic Enhancement
- Mediation/Confliction Resolution
- Restitution/Community Service
- Teen Court/Restorative Justice
- Services Addressing Problem Sexual Behavior
- Juvenile Structure Day Programs
Proposals must be submitted by February 5, 2024.

Applicants will be required to complete training for submitting an application through NCALLIES and additional assistance will be available for anyone who is interested in applying.
Proposals can be submitted online at https://cp.ncdjjdp.org/CP/. The deadline to submit a proposal is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024.
