Harnett County is committed to transparency and upholding the North Carolina public records laws, which include but are not limited to North Carolina General Statute Chapter 132.1 and General Statute 153A-98. The County is focused on providing an open exchange of documents with citizens, staff, and members of the media that is timely and accurate.
The Harnett County Public Information Office accepts public records requests using one of the following methods:
