The Child Health Clinic at the Harnett County Health Department is a full service pediatric clinic offering sick clinic and immunization appointments in addition to well child check-ups including sports, kindergarten, camp, preschool, and daycare physicals.

Appointments are available Monday-Friday from 8:00-11:15 am and 1:00-4:15 pm and can be made by calling (910) 893-7550.

Same day appointments are available. The Health Department is a Carolina Access Provider and accepts Medicaid, NC Health Choice, and some private insurances. An income based sliding scale program is also available for uninsured patients.

Meet our Providers: The Child Health clinic staff consists of Family Nurse Practitioner, Melissa McLamb, Physician Assistant, Treston Clark-Larue, Physician Assistant, Melissa Fenn and five nurses who are all available Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

The Health Department employs four Registered Nurses who have gone through additional training to become Enhanced Role Nurses, which means they are qualified to perform well child physicals. A midlevel provider is always available for sick visits, walk-in clinic, sports physicals, and to address questions or concerns that may be brought up during your child’s check-up. A Spanish Interpreter is also available in the clinic.
