Several Harnett County government departments are now at home in their new location, closer to the majority of other County services.
The Harnett County Manager’s Office, Finance Office, Human Resources, Legal Services, and Parks & Recreation have completed their move to 420 McKinney Parkway, Lillington, from their previous location at 102 E. Front St. The new location is behind the Harnett County Government Complex at the corner of McKinney Parkway and Alexander Drive. The Harnett County office of the N.C. Forest Service has also moved from 103 E. Ivey St. to the Agriculture Building at 126 Alexander Drive, Lillington.
Harnett County Development Services will remain at its current location of 108 E. Front St.
Going forward, Harnett County Board of Commissioners meetings will be held at 420 McKinney Parkway. Meetings of the Harnett County Planning Board, Board of Adjustment and Development Review Board will continue to be held at 102 E. Front St.
A public open house will be held at the new County Administration Building on Monday, February 5, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m.
County officials ask citizens for patience as County departments continue acclimating to the new location.
