Memorabilia Sale Will Allow Public to Purchase Items from Former School
Harnett County will hold a grand opening celebration for the Boone Trail Community Center and Library Saturday, July 29 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and offer residents a chance to purchase a piece of history.

Proceeds from the sale will go toward future improvements at the center.
“We’re excited to showcase this partnership between Harnett County Parks & Recreation and the Harnett County Public Library to bring much needed services to residents in the Boone Trail Community and surrounding area,” said Recreation Program Supervisor Drew Bryant. “We want to invite residents from all over Harnett County to come out and see what the Boone Trail Community Center and Library has to offer while enjoying plenty of games, food and entertainment.”
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by the memorabilia sale, which will run from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. In addition to the sale, there will be free SnoBalls and popcorn provided by the Boone Trail Ruritan Club.
