Harnett County Schools (HCS) is the public K-12 school system, with 28 schools serving approximately 21,000 students. HCS has a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program offering education in eight program areas including trade, industrial, and health sciences. HCS partners with Central Carolina Community College to offer an Advanced Manufacturing and Health Science Academies.
Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) has approximately 5,800 students and offers a variety of associate degree, certificate, and college transfer programs. Programs of study include: Bioprocess Technology, Health Technology, Computer Integrated Machining, Automotive Systems, and Engineering programs including Mechanical and Electrical.
Campbell University is a private university offering bachelor degrees and post graduate programs. The University has approximately 6,200 students and offers education in programs like Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Engineering programs including Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Electrical, and Mechanical.
The University has post-graduate offerings including a Doctorate of Pharmacy and Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences.
